Join us for our 6th annual Wort Rally, hosted by Buffalo Creek Brewing! This year's brew is an Irish Red Ale, and it's as simple as it gets—pick up the wort, add yeast, and ferment. Easiest brew day ever!

Event Details:

Cost: $55 per 5 gallons of wort
Goal: Raise $10,000 for the Northern Illinois Food Bank
Wort Style: Irish Red Ale
Competition Details:
Participate in a “March Madness”-style bracket to show off your creativity! Choose one of four yeast-based brackets:

Belgian Region
British/Irish Region
German Region
Wild Wild West (everything else, including Kveik)
Each region will crown a winner, with an overall Best of Show winner. Feedback will be provided based on BJCP guidelines.

How to Compete:

Select your yeast region at registration.
Use your creativity—add dry hops, oak, vanilla, or more!
Submit three 12-oz amber bottles by the drop-off deadline (details TBD).

Local businesses and groups can sponsor a batch, enjoy custom-labeled beer, and attend the awards ceremony—all while supporting charity!

Awards Ceremony:
Winners will be announced at Buffalo Creek Brewing (Sunday March 2 starting at 1pm).
