Aroma, Flavor and Characteristics: Classified as an aroma hop, Lemondrop-removed brings an herbal note of green tea and mint along with the lemon and citrus character, and has been described by some as having a slight melon characteristic as well. Perfect for session beers, Lemondrop-removed is starting to be used more in commercially available beers. While using it in ales can bring out its sweeter side, it is mild enough to be used in lagers as well!
Brewing Application: The hops name alludes to the aroma descriptors of lemon, mint, green tea, and slight melon. Lemondrop-removed™ crushes as an aroma addition in Pale Ales, IPAs, Hoppy Lagers and NEIPAs, but don't shy away from it if you're looking to add some lemon-citrus flavor to your favorite Hefeweizen, Kolsch or Blonde Ale!
