Like a long-imprisoned man scratching tally marks into the wall and slowly losing his sanity, I feel like it’s been AGES since our last washed Ethiopian coffee. And like that scene in The Shawshank Redemption wherein (warning: major spoiler alert!) Andy Dufresne gets his first taste of freedom upon his escape, I’m reveling in sheer joy as I sip on this wonderful cup. Expect sweet aromatics of citrus, cane sugar, and florals. The cup is an excellent balance of sweet and tart with notes of lemon zest, cane sugar, apricot, apple, and honeysuckle. Now, you’ve had 30 years to see the movie I spoiled above, so get busy watchin’ or get busy dyin’.
