As a staff & customer favorite, Ethiopian coffee tends to move through here pretty rapidly. We’ve probably roasted thousands at this point. According to my library of old signs/descriptions, we had coffee from West Arsi as recently as 2024. For beans specifically from the Refisa washing station, we have to go all the way back to 2021. While it doesn’t have the clout of Yirgacheffe or Sidama, West Arsi produces some excellent coffee. We tasted a bright, vibrant cup with notes of cane sugar, lemon, lime, jasmine, and raspberry.
