Your Destination for the Perfect Brewing Supplies: Beer, Wine, Cheese and More
Cashmere is described as having delicate yet strong aromas of melon, coconut, citrus notes, such as sweet lemon, lime, lemon peel, or an edge of grapefruit. You may even notice some tropical whispers of pineapple. It may contain woody, spicy notes akin to coriander, especially when boiled. Bitterness will remain smooth and clean.
Common Beer Styles: Pale Ales, IPA's, Saisons, Wild Ales, American Blonde and Amerian Lager
Brewing Application: Cashmere really shines when used for aroma and flavor in hop-forward styles, or where the intensity of its exotic tropical notes will complement sour, fruited, or funky ales. Its respectable alpha content combined with low cohumulone lets it contribute smooth bitterness if used early in the boil.
Alpha Acid Range: 8-11%
Beta Acid Range: 4 - 7.0%
Cohumulone as % of alpha: 35%
Total oils mL/100 gr.: 1.4 – 2.2 mL/100g
Every employee, along with the owner especially, is not only knowledgeable but kind and helpful. I am a total amateur and this company made me feel welcome and excited to get back home and start brewing.
I've lived and brewed in many cities across the country, and Perfect Brewing has the best inventory and most knowledgeable and helpful people ever!
I have been ordering their kits for brewing beer since I started back in March 2020. I have never had a bad tasting kit. They have even given suggestions and been extremely helpful. I highly recommend them for any of your brewing or wine-making needs. Keep up the great work.
